Obituary of Donnie Lee Reynolds, Sr.

Donnie Lee Reynolds, Sr., 64 of  Lynch Station, passed away Friday, April 21, 2017 at  Centra Lynchburg General Hospital.  He was born on Monday, August 4, 1952  in Lynchburg, a son of Ruby Patterson Reynolds of Lynch Station who survives and the late John Arnold Reynolds. He was also preceded in death by a son, Jason Lee Saunders, a grandson, Dwayne Scott Reynolds and a brother, Michael Dennis Reynolds.

He was a driver with Glenwood and was a member of the Altavista Moose Lodge.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sons, Donnie "Dink" Reynolds, Jr. & wife, Kelly of Gladys, Derik Reynolds & wife, Andrea of Long Island; his grandchildren, Zachary, Jake, Kelsi, Devin & McKayla Reynolds; his great- grandchildren, Abel & Ryland Reynolds; four sisters, Sue  Doss & husband, George of Altavista, Janet Hall & husband, Tim of Hurt, Joyce Bradner & husband, James of Hurt, Tina Bolling & husband, Gary of Leesville as well as a special niece, Connie Waller.  

A memorial service will be held at 6:30 PM on Friday, April 28, 2017 at Updike Funeral Chapel, Huddleston with Rev. Wayne Murphy officiating.  There will be no visitation.  Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Huddleston.
