Obituary of Beatrice Brown Cassidy

Beatrice Brown Cassidy, 86 of  Moneta, passed away Sunday, June 11, 2017 at Berkshire Nursing Home.  She was born on Sunday, September 7, 1930 in Bedford County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Calvin Cassidy.  

She is survived by her son, Rodney Cassidy & wife, Jennifer of Moneta; her daughter, Susan C. Gardner of Roanoke; a grandson, Brian Cassidy of Moneta; her sister, Martha Leonard of Bedford and her brother, Everett Brown of Thaxton.  

The family will receive friends beginning at 10 AM on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Bethlehem Baptist Church and a funeral service will follow at 11 AM with Rev. Karl Hofheinz & Rev. Chuck Williams officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
