Obituary of Virginia Witt Overstreet

Virginia Witt Overstreet, 95 of  Bedford, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2017 at Oakwood Health & Rehab. Center.  She was born on Friday, February 10, 1922  in Bedford County, a daughter of the late Hardy Hugh Witt and Ella V. Overstreet Witt.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Overstreet, Sr.

She is survived by her sons, Edgar Witt of Bedford, Arnold Woodford of Bedford; her daughters, Evelyn Carter of Bedford, Roberta O. Little & fiance, Kenny of Bedford, Leanna S. McNeil & husband, Matt of Rocky Mount as well as twelve grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren & her faithful & loyal companion, Pandy.  

Funeral services will be held at the graveside at Greenwood Cemetery at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 with Rev. Wayne Murphy officiating.  The family will receive friends Tuesday morning from 10 until 11:10 AM at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
