Obituary of Robin Edward Wright

Robin Edward Wright, 62 of  Bedford, passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at his residence. He was born on Friday, June 24, 1955  in Waco, TX, a son of the late Monte D. Wright  and Joyce Chancellor Wright. 

Robin graduated from Montgomery College , MD with a degree in Criminal Justice.  He served in the U. S. Army as a military police officer and worked security in civilian life as well.  Robin was passionate about U. S. & European military history and read about it extensively.  He was a member of Bedford Presbyterian Church and volunteered for many years at the Shepherd's Table.  

He is survived by his sisters, Julie (Scott) Lockhart, Darcy Wright both of Auburn, NY; nieces, Kaitlin (John)  Lockhart of Baltimore, MD, Ashley Stevens of VA; nephew, Greg Lockhart of Rochester, NY as well as aunts, uncles and cousins.  

The family requests those wishing to make memorials to consider The Shepherd's Table, 217 W. Washington Street, Bedford, VA 24523.  

There will be no services.  Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
