Obituary of Jack Turner Dawson

Jack Turner Dawson, 74 of  Bedford, passed away Friday, December 8, 2017. He was born on Friday, March 19, 1943 in Bedford County, a son of the late Gordon B. Dawson and Virginia Turner Dawson of Big Island.  He was also preceded in death by his loving daughter, Jackie Lynn Dawson.

He is survived by his wife, Kay Howell Dawson; his brothers, G. B. Dawson, Jr. & wife, Martha of Big Island, Jerry Lee Dawson of Fort Worth, TX; a sister-in-law, Fay Howell Nichols of Big Island; nieces & nephews, Sallie Fortney of Bedford; Victoria Dawson of Big Island, Leslie Nicole "Nikki" Cobb of Austin, TX, Jeremy Nichols, Jason Nichols, Jessica Nichols all of Big Island & Tracy Howell McDermott of San Diego, CA.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 2 until 4 PM on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
