Annie Mae Overstreet Creasy, 83 of Bedford, passed away Sunday, December 17, 2017 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.  She was born on Saturday, March 3, 1934  in Bedford County, a daughter of the late Samuel W. Overstreet and Annie Bell Hubbard Overstreet.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Owen Cecil Creasy.

She was retired from Bedford Weaving Mill and was a member of Quaker Baptist Church. 

She is survived by her sons, Lewis C. Creasy & wife, Toni, Ronnie L. Creasy & wife, Helen all of Bedford; her grandson, Christopher Lewis Creasy of Atlanta, GA; her special dog, Charlie; sisters, Alice Overstreet, Shirley Hamilton, Peggy Scott & husband, Bill, Mary Cumby & husband, Johnny, Mavis Moody & husband, Don; her brothers, John Overstreet, Stewart Overstreet, Sam Overstreet, Jr. & wife, Edith.  

The family requests those wishing to make memorials to consider Angels of Assisi, 415 Campbell Avenue, SW, Roanoke, VA 24106.

Funeral services will be held at the graveside at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Quaker Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Wayne Murphy officiating.  The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5 until 7 PM at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
