Mallissie Brown Bramlett, 91 of Montvale, passed away Saturday, September 27, 2014 at her residence. She was born on Wednesday, April 25, 1923 in Bedford County, a daughter of the late Archie Madison Brown and Louisa Crouch Brown. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Mack Bramlett , her daughter, Lenna Worrell & her son-in-law, Earlie Worrell. She was a past employee of Singer Furniture and was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Surviving are her grandchildren, Gary Worrell & wife, Hope, Rickie Worrell & Catherine Settle, Melissa Worrell, Michael Worrell; her great grandchildren, Amber Worrell, Kayleigh Wright, Taylor Worrell & her great great grandson, William Overstreet. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Updike Funeral Chapel, Bedford with Rev. Bill Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may call Monday after 1 PM and the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford
