Lutie Lucille Lambert Davis, 95 of Lynch Station, passed away Monday, November 10, 2014 at Autumn Care of Altavista. She was born on Sunday, May 11, 1919 in Wayne Co., WV, a daughter of the late John Lambert and Isabelle Hampton Lambert. She was also preceded in death by husband, Morrison Meade Davis. She was a charter member of Liberty Baptist Church. Surviving is her son, Kelly Davis & wife, Joan of Evington; her daughters, Darnell Roark & husband, Carroll of Evington, Judy Ware of Evington, Bonnie Glenn of Altavista; a sister, Gladys Perry of Florida as well as nine grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren & seven great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 2 PM at Liberty Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Critchley & Pastor Jeff Chapman officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12 noon until the time of the service at the church. Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Huddleston.
