Jane Saul Smith, 55 of Bedford, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was born on Monday, May 18, 1959 in Franklin County, a daughter of Vivian Moore Saul of Bedford, who survives and the late Harvey Saul. She was an employee of the Bedford County Nursing Home and was a member of Flint Hill Baptist Church. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Nathan Glenn Smith; her daughter, Angie M. Davis & husband, Adam of Bedford; her son, Todd Smith of Pamplin; grandchildren, Morgan, Nick & Olivia Smith, Brooke Kotash, Daisie Davis; five sisters, Joyce Marie Terry, Mary Lee Bryant, both of Moneta, Brenda Mae Richardson of FL, Patricia Sue Ayers of Bedford, Kaye Underwood of Goodview; three brothers, Roger Lewis Saul, John Harvey Saul, both of Bedford, Terry Lynn Saul of Moneta; her mother-in-law, Zena O. Smith of Bedford as well as two brothers-in-law & three sisters-in-law. A memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 10:00 am at Grace Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Greg Rogers, Rev. Kyle Dooley & Rev. Tim Dooley officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 6 until 8 PM at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
