Sarah Adams Cobb, 95 of Bedford, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Oakwood Health & Rehab. Center. She was born on Friday, June 10, 1921 in Bedford County, a daughter of the late John William Adams and Edris Cundiff Adams. She was also preceded in death by her son, Thomas William Cobb & her brother, David S. Adams.
She was retired from Rubatex Corporation and was a member of Quaker Baptist Church and the Rebekah's Peaks of Otter Lodge # 32.
She is survived by her grandson, Tom Cobb, Jr. & wife, Jackie of Monticello, IN, as well as numerous other grandchildren & great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 11:00 am at the graveside at Quaker Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Wayne Murphy officiating.
There will be no visitation. Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
