Mary Settles Campbell, 75 of Thaxton, passed away Sunday, October 9, 2016 at Oakwood Health & Rehab. Center. She was born on Sunday, April 13, 1941 in Bedford County, a daughter of the late Clarence Settles and Margaret Nester Settles. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Randolph Campbell. She is survived by her daughters, Bonnie Parker & husband, Graham of Thaxton, Connie Claytor & husband, Jeff of Bedford; her son, Johnny Creasy of Thaxton; step-daughter, Rona Blankenship of Natural Bridge; brothers, Jimmy Settles, Gary Settles; sister, Linda Carter; her grandchildren, Tiffany Parker, Kelly Parker, Sarah Claytor, Ashley Creasy, Mary Beth Creasy and her great-grandson, Luke Davis. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Updike Funeral Chapel, Bedford with Pastor Ray Lyons officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 until 8 PM at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
