Lenore Harris Wade, 62 of Bedford passed away Friday, May 21, 2021 at her residence. She was born February 11, 1959 in Person County, North Carolina, a daughter to the late Ellis Edward Harris and Laura Martin Harris.
She is survived by her husband, Steven Arlie Wade; her daughter, Amy Lynette Layman; and her son, Steven Justin Wade; her grandchildren. Laura-Kay Evelyn Layman, Taylor Elizabeth Layman, and Jamie Lynn Layman.
She was a long time administrative assistant at Century 21. She was known for her caring personality and willingness to help in any way possible.
A memorial service will be held at 1 PM on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Updike Funeral Chapel, Bedford. There is no visitation. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to American Cancer Society. After the ceremony guests are welcome to join the family at their residence, 7777 Wheats Valley Rd, Bedford, VA 24523, where refreshments will be provided.
Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
