Bridget Yvette Thomas Turpin, 58 of Roanoke passed away at her residence Friday, September 15, 2023. She was born Wednesday, September 30, 1964, a daughter of the late Charles Lynwood Thomas and Joyce Orange Thomas. She was also preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Okrey & Lula Orange; paternal grandparents, James & Violet Thomas.

Bridget was loved by everyone who met her. She had a contagious smile and loved her kids. She also loved her other girls Anita, Lisa, & Crystal. Bridget was employed by Elibit Systems since February 2023. She loved her job & her co-workers.

She is survived by her daughter, Amanda Gordon (Jason); son, Brandon Turpin (Chasity); cousin, Collins Orange (Peggy); uncle, Ronnie Orange; son-in-law, Otey Gordon; special friends, Shane Lacy & Becky Catron.

Funeral services will be held 2 PM Thursday, September 21, 2023 at Updike Funeral Chapel, Bedford with Pastor Earl Ragland officiating. Interment will follow in Virginia Memorial Park. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 PM Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford
