Obituary of John Andrew Eppley

John Andrew Eppley, 92 of Bedford, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 17, 2025 at  Centra Bedford Memorial Hospital.  He was born on Wednesday, November 2, 1932  in Pearisburg, VA, a son of the late Wandlas Emory Eppley and Laura Mae Johnston Eppley.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ellen "Mickey" Snead Eppley & a son-in-law. Michael W. Blankenship. 

He was a retired sheet metal worker and was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Local #100.  He was also a veteran of the U. S. Army having served in the Korean War.

He is survived by his daughters, Sharon E. Blankenship, Laura E. Key (David); his son, Charles A. "Andy" Eppley (Esther); his sisters, Polly Ann Creasy, Bonnie Bremner (Charlie) as well as his beloved grandchildren & great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Quaker Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor David Timma officiating.  There is no visitation.
