Q: What 3 words best describe Steven and why?
A: Troy as he was commonly known is my son. He was always fearless, full of life and energy and protected and defended his family and friends.
As a child he was always busy. Sometimes getting into mischief, sometimes fixing things or tearing them apart to see how they worked.
One day is easy washing dishes at the kitchen sink and as I looked out the kitchen window - Troy & his sister's had found a ladder and climbed onto the roof. They were jumping off the roof - landing on the trampoline!
Troy was a hard worker. He performed his Saturday house/family chores quickly so that our family could have a Star Wars Movie fest. Or an Indiana Jones Fest. Troy bought his own motorcycle as a teenager so that he could get himself a job moving pipe for local farmers.
He loved playing video games & was very good.
He joined the Army at 18 with his buddy Danny Davidson. After his service he married Susette Saleans & they had 3 beautiful children - Joseph Troy, Cody, & Jessi-Kate. He loved his family, but ran a tight ship. He was meticulous in caring for their vehicle,, motorcycles & anything that had an engine. He taught his kids to take care of things as well. After 19 years of marriage, Troy & Suzette divorced, but always remained friends. He later met & married Kelly Mitchel and made a good life with family & friends. They loved spending time on the lake at Smith Mt. and BBQing and entertaining at the dock. Troy became a master cook on the grill and wok - cooking up a huge variety of smoked or grilled meats and treats. He will forever be remembered by friends for his cooking & entertaining.
He will be forever loved & missed by his family.

I am so sorry to hear about Troy's passing. I knew Troy from working with him at BW Container System. Troy was always a pleasure to talk to. Prayers for comfort and healing during your time of sorrow.
