Percy Leon Myers, 85 of Bedford, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at his residence. He was born on Saturday, July 29, 1939 in Pittsylvania Co., a son of the late Daniel Myers and Esther Thomas Myers. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Marty Myers & a brother, Elgin Myers.

Leon retired from Klopman Mills and was a member of Norwood Baptist Church where he was a deacon . He loved his church and worshipping with the members there. He was also a proud veteran of the U. S. Air Force. He was musically inclined and sang in a band for a number of years. He enjoyed camping, mowing his yard, NASCAR and football.

He is survived by his wife, Ann Stanley Myers; his sons, Robbi Myers (Joy), Lynn Myers, Troy Douglas Martin (Angie); his daughter, Tracie Whorley (Brian); his grandchildren, Ethan Daniel Myers, Olivia Martin; step-sister, Connie Wilson; sisters-in-law, Linda Dingus (Tony), Jane Myers; brother-in-law, Jimmy Arthur (Michelle); close friends, Jim & Peggy Blevins as well as several nieces & nephews.

The family requests those wishing to make memorials consider Norwood Baptist Church, 1045 Random Way, Forest, VA 24551.

The family will receive friends beginning at 10 AM on Monday, March 10, 2025 at Norwood Baptist Church and his funeral service will follow at 11:00 am with Pastor Sam Stump officiating. Interment will follow in Virginia Memorial Park.
