Glenda Callahan Eckart, 83 of Bedford passed away Sunday, March 16, 2025 at Bedford County Nursing Home. She was born March 12, 1942 in Bedford County, a daughter of the late Fred Callahan and Lillian Irene Wills Callahan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul F. Eckart, Sr. and a brother, Fred "Butch" Callahan.

She was a lifetime member of Flint Hill Baptist Church.

She is survived by her sons, Paul Eckart (Tammy), Michael Eckart (Carolyn), Ronnie Eckart (fiance, Melissa); grandchildren, Christopher Eckart (Ashley), Matthew Eckart (Brandy), Daniel Eckart (Mandy), Katie Beth Eckart (fiance, Randy), Eric Donald (Kimberly) as well as twelve great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at Holy Land USA Cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Dooley officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
