Obituary of Vickie Darlene Stover

Vickie Darlene Stover, 67, of Thaxton, passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at her residence. She was born on Tuesday, September 3, 1957 to the late Robert MacAfee Stover & Elizabeth Pearl Crawford.

Vickie loved listening to music and she loved “little one”, her feline friend.

She is survived by her children, Melissa Plaster (Ron), Angela Emswiller & Duane Thomas (Mary Ann); grandchildren, Sierra Davis, Jessica Davis, Dorion Thomas, Camron Cook, Kendra Cook, Brendan Whitaker & Robbie Thomas; numerous great-grandchildren; brother, Vince Stover (Julia); nieces, Kayla Clendenin & Courtney Stover; special friends, Colin & Amy McRoberts.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the Bedford Fire Department, Bedford County Fire & Rescue & Bedford County Sheriff's Office for all their help.  The family also would like to thank Bedford Davita Dialysis Center for fighting hard for her the last 2 years.
