Rebecca “Becky” Anne Fifer Ayers, 71, of Bedford, passed away on Friday, March 21, 2025 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital. She was born on Monday, April 13, 1953 to the late Edward Fifer & Maria Tolley Neas. She is also preceded in death by her brothers, Jerry Fifer & Reggie Fifer.

Becky was a huge Elvis fan. She loved playing the lottery, going to the beach, shopping & flowers. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Kenney Ayers; children, Christina Craig (Frank), Katherine Ayers & Sherri Ayers; nine grandchildren; Twelve great-grandchildren; brother, Steve Fifer (Sabrina); numerous nieces & nephews; many, many friends.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 24, 2025 at Updike Funeral Chapel, Bedford with Pastor Larry Ross officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. on Sunday, March 23, 2025 at Updike Funeral Home, Bedford.
