Obituary of Amy Boone Quesenberry

Amy Boone Quesenberry, 75 of Huddleston, passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2025 with her husband, David by her side.  She was born November 30, 1949 in Bedford, a daughter of the late Norval A. Boone and Eva H. Boone.  She was also preceded in death by her sister, Mary F. Hudson and her brother, Dr. Frank D. Boone.

Amy was a member of Bedford Christian Church. She was an animal lover and especially loved her dogs, Pusher and Rocky.  She also enjoyed traveling across the country with her husband and their trucking company.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, David and her children, Kelly St. Laurent, Patrick Snyder (Renae), Jennifer Gibbons (Caleb), Darlene Kirby (Justin), Sara-Anne Quesenberry, Christian Quesenberry (Amy) and 15 grandchildren.  She is also survived by her sister, Barbara Witt (John) and brother, N.A. Boone (Eddie).

The family would like to thank everyone at Centra Bedford Hospice and Amy’s faithful friend and caregiver, Dawn Hess for the kind and compassionate care.  

The family will receive friends beginning at 1 PM on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford and a memorial service will follow at 2 PM in the chapel with Pastor David Walton officiating.
