Fleeta Preston Millard, 81 of Huddleston and formerly of Cleveland, TN passed away Sunday, May 25, 2025 at Spring Oak-Elks National Home.  She was born September 25, 1943 in Bedford County, a daughter of the late Warren Bennett Preston and Margaret Anita Cochran Preston.  She was also preceded in death by her husband Raymond Edward Millard and a brother, Jackie Preston.

She owned & operated the Lemon Tree Shoe Boutique in Cleveland, TN, having retired in 2002 and was a member of St. Luke Episcopal Church also in Cleveland, TN.

She is survived by her son, Jason Preston Millard (Mina); her grandson, Jackson Raymond Millard and her granddaughter, Ella Katherine Millard; her sister, Brenda Preston Woodford; brother, Billy Jade Preston (Peggy); her nieces & nephews, Annette Jenkins (Darrell), Davie Woodford (Karen), Jan Burnette (Woody), Dana St. Clair (David), Jodie Smolik (George), Debra Figuly (Phillip), and great nieces & nephews.

The family requests that those wishing to make memorials consider the Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, 6325 Smith Mountain Lake Parkway, Huddleston, VA 24104.

A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church Cemetery with Davie Woodford officiating.  There is no visitation.
