Rosetta Ann Epperly Ferrell, 79 of Moneta, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Born on August 6, 1945 in Roanoke, she was a daughter of the late Frank, Sr. & Marie Turman Epperly.   She was also preceded in death by a sister, Sylvia Spangler & her brothers, Frank Epperly, Jr. & Sheldon Epperly.  

She graduated from Stewartsville High School and attended Radford University.  She worked as a para-professional with special needs students in Alleghany & Montgomery County Schools for over thirty years.  Ann was a member of Blue Ridge Church of the Brethern and recently attended Saunders Grove Church of the Brethren as her health allowed.  She enjoyed arts, crafts and preparing floral arrangements.  She enjoyed sitting on the porch with her husband bird watching and enjoying nature.  She and her husband enjoyed hot air ballooning for many years. She loved to spend time with her family & friends.  

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of sixty-two years, George Ferrell; her sons, James Ferrell & wife,Trish, Paul Ferrell & wife, Sharon; grandsons, Christopher Ferrell & wife, Selena; Patrick Ferrell & Tucker Ferrell; great granddaughters, Annagrace, Charlotte & Georgia Ferrell; her sisters, Linda Bowles & Gloria Epperly; sister-in-law, Louise Haldren & husband, Harold; brother-in-law, Billy Ferrell & wife, Ruth; as well as a number of nieces, nephews and special friends.

The family will receive friends beginning at 10:30 AM on Friday, June 6, 2025 at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford and a funeral service will follow at 12 PM in the chapel with Christopher Ferrell, Glen Stevens & Rod Quinn officiating.  Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
