Kelly Lynne Lakes Obituary
Kelly Lynne Lakes, 60 of Lynchburg passed away Sunday, June 29, 2025 at her residence. She was born on Tuesday, March 16, 1965 in Lynchburg, a daughter of the late Cecil Loyd Lakes and Laverne Cyrus Lakes.
Kelly was an avid reader and enjoyed sharing her books with close friends.
She is survived by her Brother, Gary Cooper (Sharon); aunt, Fay McConville; uncle, Dan McConville; special friend, Wayne Lanham; several cousins & nephews and many close friends.
The family would like to give special thanks to the Miriam's House staff and requests that In lieu of flowers, make memorials to Miriam's House, 409 Magnolia Street, Lynchburg, VA 24503.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Updike Funeral Chapel, Bedford.
