Myrtle Ann Giles Price, 85 of  Altavista, passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at Centra Gretna.  She was born on Sunday, December 24, 1939  in Chatham, VA, a daughter of the late  Walter Benny Giles and Mary Eva Newby Giles. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Arthur C. Price, and a sister, Mary Rowland.  She was retired from the Campbell County Recreation Department as Coordinator of the Senior Citizens Group.  She was a member of  Calvary Baptist Church of Altavista.

She is survived by her son, Charles Dwaine Blankenship and daughter, Edna Kaye Puryear, both of Altavista; her grandchildren, Sarah Paggans (Robbie), Valene Ayers (Kyle) and Nikki Barr (Billy); great-grandchildren, Libby, Will & Emersyn; a sister, Wendy Bruce and a brother, Joseph Giles (Marlene).

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Calvary Baptist Church, Altavista with Pastor Matt Gaston and nephew, Joseph Giles, Jr. officiating.
