Larry Lee Hackworth, 71 of Lynch Station passed away Friday, February 27,2026 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital. Larry was born on Friday, June 18, 1954 in Bedford, a son of late Lonnie Bradford Hackworth, Sr. and Doris Una Creasy Hackworth.

Larry retired from BGF.

He is survived by his sisters, Goldie Sunders, Ella Goodman; brothers, Lonnie Hackworth, Jr. (Brenda), Ronnie Hackworth (Joyce), Ray Hackworth (Tammy); a special niece, Rhonda Pair and numerous nieces and nephews.

A private service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Huddleston.
