Tristan Garrett Guffey, 21 of Glade Spring, VA passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at Johnston Memorial Hospital, Abingdon as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.  He was born July 25, 2004 in Lynchburg, a son of Thomas “Jake” Gene Guffey and Vickie Church Guffey of Abingdon.

 He was employed at Paramount Manufacturing.

In addition to his father & mother, he is survived by his paternal grandparents, Tom & Donna Guffey of Huddleston; brother, Joshua Ashwell as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family requests that those wishing to make memorials consider the Shriners Children's Hospital, 2900 N. Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607.

A memorial service will be held at 1 PM on Thursday, May 14, 2026 at Bethesda Methodist Church with Rev. Jack Davis officiating.  The family will receive friends beginning at 12 noon.
