Isaac Wallace White, 77 of Bedford, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2011 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital. He was born on Sunday, February 25, 1934 in Bedford County, a son of the late Asa Russell White and Nora Orange White. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Robertson White, a son, Wallace Steven White and four brothers, George, Berkley, Elbert & Joe White. He was a bus driver with Bedford County Public School and was also retired from Rubatex Corporation. Surviving are his daughters, Debra White Radford & husband, Kenneth, Yolanda White Witt both of Bedford, Kim Collins & husband, Eric of Big Island; a son, Tony White of Bedford, his special friend, Ann Duncan of Bedford; three sisters, Sarah Stanley & husband, Tommy of Bedford, JoAnn Barfield & husband, Johnny of Goode, Betty Woolfolk & husband, Irvin of Bedford, his special grandson, Jeremy Witt, grandson, Greg Carter, two granddaughters, Tonya Stoneberger & Kristie Seamster as well as two great grandchildren. The family requests that those wishing to make memorials to consider a doantion to Bedford Primary School. Donations will be used to support the education of "his little darlings". Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Updike Funeral Chapel, Bedford with Rev. Larry Myers and Rev. Rusty Craig officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 6 until 8 PM at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
