Obituary of Donald Frank Muse
Donald Frank Muse, 89, of Bedford, passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Sidney Muse & Susan Angeline Pratt Muse; infant daughter, Sarah Jeane Muse; son, David Richard Muse & grandson, Kevin Michael Muse.
Donald was a graduate of Jefferson High School. He retired from Norfolk Southern Railway after a long career. Donald was a member of Bedford Baptist Church where he sang in the choir and was a deacon. He enjoyed making stained glass lamps and was a car enthusiast.
Surviving are his wife, Patricia W. Muse; son, Michael Muse (Mary); daughter, Linda Kay Buchanan & John Dalton; son, Roger Bryant (Tammy); daughters, Kathy Brown & Kristina Long (Richard); grandchildren, Sarah Minter, Matthew Muse, Cameron Buchanan, Christa Buchanan, Miguel Muse Poston, Santana Muse Poston, Chris Bryant, Jodi Bryant, Robert Bryant, Cheyenne Bryant & Jamie Ashley; six great-grandchildren & his favorite dog, Mandy.
A Funeral Service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 14, 2022 at Bedford Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Khol officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Burial Park, Roanoke. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 13. 2022 from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Updike Funeral Home, Bedford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bedford Baptist Church, 1516 Oakwood Street, Bedford, VA, 24523.
