Obituary of Deborah Ann Tuck

Deborah Ann Benson Tuck, 68 of Bedford passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at her residence.  She was born March 1, 1955, in Japan to the late Paul and Juanita Lynch Benson.

Deborah, the most loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother is survived by her husband, Otha Herman Tuck; her daughter, Michele Blankenship (Scott); son, Marshall Tuck; granddaughters, Mckayla Claytor (Malik), Ashley Sprouse (Ryan), Bailie Tuck; great grandchildren, Mila, Nora, and Lana Claytor, Sophia and Abraham Chambers, Layla, Avery, and Serenity Sprouse; brother, Chris Benson; Sisters, Paulette Randolph and Gayle Englehart (Dane).

Upon graduation from Stanton River High School in 1973, Deborah worked alongside her father skillfully learning the trade of dog grooming and went on to start her own women-owned business, Fancy Paws Pet Parlor. Deborah was a skilled quilt maker who crafted many beautiful blankets for her family and loved ones. When she wasn’t inside working she enjoyed fishing and working in her flower garden.

Deborah was truly a great woman whose impact will forever be felt by her family. Her ability to sacrifice, provide, forgive and love will forever be engrained in all she knew.

A memorial service will be held at 3 PM on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at the family home with Rev. Wayne Murphy officiating.   

Arrangements are being made by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
