Marian Tucker Hensley, 79 of Lynch Station, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2017 at her residence. She was born on Sunday, May 2, 1937 in Campbell County, a daughter of the late Milton Tucker and Ethel Mayberry Tucker. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Board Hensley, Jr. She was retired as a school cafeteria worker with Campbell County School System.
Marian is survived by her son, Jason P. Hensley & wife, Angela of Lynch Station; her grandson, Gage Hensley; her brothers, Raymond Tucker of Lynch Station, Jimmy Tucker of Lynchburg; her sisters, Barbara Booker of Altavista, Carol Hamlett of Appomattox.
Funeral services will be held at the graveside at Union Chapel Community Church Cemetery at 2:00 PM on Sunday, April 9, 2017 with Jimmy Tucker officiating. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Huddleston.
