Gary Gene Overstreet, 52 of  Evington, passed away Thursday, May 25, 2017 at his residence.  He was born on Tuesday, June 2, 1964  in Lynchburg, VA, a son of the Freda Lucinda Weringo Overstreet of Rustburg and the late Curtis Preston Overstreet .  H was also preceded in death by his dog, Pistol.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Lisa Michele Roach Overstreet; his brothers, Curtis Overstreet, Kenny Overstreet, Scotty Overstreet; his sisters, Brenda Overstreet, Anita Overstreet, Susan  Overstreet & husband, Nelson Owens; his nephew, Nathan Overstreet; close friends, Jason & Kim Simmons, Derek Robertson & his god daughter, Shanna Owens.  

The is no visitation and services will be private.  Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford
