Obituary of Larry Forest Overstreet, Jr.

Larry Forest Overstreet, Jr., 73 of  Bedford, passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at his residence.  He was born on Saturday, October 30, 1943 in Botetourt County, a son of the late Larry F. Overstreet, Sr. and Nellie Mae Carter Overstreet.  

He was a retired truck driver having driven with George Wooldridge Trucking. 

He is survived by his wife, Debra Lyne Dudley Overstreet; his daughters, Angela O. Ashby & husband, Steven,  Amanda O. Aldridge & husband, Richard, Brittany  Overstreet & fiance, Will, Leslie O. Sweazea, Melanie Overstreet; his sons, Larry W. Overstreet, Kevin L. Overstreet & wife, Danielle, Travis Overstreet, Dustin Overstreet, twenty grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren & his brother, Obie Carter.  

Funeral services will be held at the graveside at Glade Creek Cemetery at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 30, 2017 with Pastor Earl Ragland officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, June 30, 2017 from 9 until 10:30 AM at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
