Obituary of Elenor Craig Newman

Elenor Craig Newman, 95 of  Bedford, passed away Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Oakwood Health & Rehab. Center.  She was born on Tuesday, April 11, 1922 in Bedford County, a daughter of the late Pascal Craig  and Luettie Stevens Craig.  She was also preceded in death by her first husband and the father of her children, Charles W. Reid as well as her second husband, William Newman.  

She is survived by her daughters, Sandra McDaniel & husband, Sammy, Janice Bobbitt all of Bedford; her son, Chuck Reid & wife, Debbie of Bedford; her sister, Mamie Newman of Bedford as well as six grandchildren & eleven great grandchildren.  

The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 31, 2017 from 10 until 11:30 AM at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford and a graveside service will follow at 12 noon at Virginia Memorial Park.   Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
