Obituary of Lois Anna Reynolds Hackworth

Lois Anna Reynolds Hackworth, 83 of Altavista, VA passed away Saturday, November 4, 2017 at  Autumn Care of Altavista.  She was born on Sunday, April 29, 1934 in Campbell County.  She was a daughter of the late Robert & Ruth Reynolds.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Allen Cleon Hackworth; a daughter, Catherine Hunley; a great-grandson, Daryn Hackworth; and two brothers & two sisters.

She is survived by a daughter, Cynthia Moschler & husband, Paul, of Gretna; a son, Steve Hackworth & wife, Rita, of Huddleston; a sister, Mary Catherine "Kitty" Pillow, of Lynch Station; her grandsons, Jeremy Hackworth & Brandon Hackworth; a granddaughter, Tara Hunley; five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

A Graveside service will be held on Monday, November 6, 2017 at 11:00 am at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery in Evington, Va. with the  Rev. R.G. Rowland & Rev. Rick Foster officiating. There will be no visitation.  Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Huddleston.
