Julius Omar Kirby, Jr., 84 of Bedford, passed away Friday, November 10, 2017 at his residence. He was born on Tuesday, August 15, 1933 in Botetourt County, a son of the late Julius O. Kirby, Sr. and Mazie Moss Kirby. He was retired from Citty Ford as a mechanic.
He is survived by his wife, Daisey Mae Martin Kirby; his son, Adam Kirby; his daughter, Eve Kirby; his grandsons, Kenneth & Justin Kirby, all of Bedford.
The family will receive friends from 11 AM until 12:30 PM on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service and a graveside service will follow at 1:00 PM at Virginia Memorial Park with Rev. Wayne Murphy officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
