Obituary of Larry Elbert Bullion
Larry Elbert Bullion, 72, of Bedford, departed this life on Saturday, January 13, 2018, at the Salem VA Hospital. He was born May 12, 1945 to the late James and Winifred Bullion.
Larry was a veteran of the United States Air Force having served as a helicopter pilot during the Vietnam War. He was also an avid Harley rider and loved spending time with his beloved dog, Duke. One of his favorite hobbies was collecting and fixing up both modern and classic vehicles. He was also known for being a jack of all trades and was always willing to lend a helping hand wherever needed.
He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Kimberly Bullion of Bedford, Va.; two daughters, Shanna (Darryl) Rucker of Lynchburg, Va.; Brandy (David) Cheatham of Nashville, TN; one step-son, Kenyon Orange of Bedford; one sister, Connie Goff of Evington; four grandchildren; as well a host of other relatives and friends.
Larry will be greatly missed by all of those who knew him. Services will be private. Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
