Frederick Hunter Obituary
Frederick Gerald Hunter, 88 of Bedford, VA passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at Campbell Rest Home. He was born on Tuesday, May 9, 1922 in Athens, PA, a son of the late Milton D. Hunter and Pearl Kunzman Hunter. He was retired from the U. S. Army and was also a retired letter carrier for the U. S. Postal Service. Surviving are his daughters, Joyce A. Roberts of Bryan, OH; Theresa Boothe of Roanoke; his loving companion, Twila Snyder of Bedford; a brother, Duane Hunter of Athens, PA; a niece, Dawn Fenton of Athens, PA, six grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held in Hopewell, VA with burial in the City Point National Cemetery. Local arrangements by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
