Obituary of Willie Morris Watson
Willie Morris Watson, 70 of Moneta, passed away Friday, May 4, 2018 in Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center. He was born December 31, 1947 in Roanoke, a son of the late John Hanford Watson and Helen Dooley Watson. He was retired from Kraftmaid Kitchens and was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church.
He is survived by the love of his life, Kathie Woodford Watson; daughters, Kim Watson Gabris of Roanoke, Sheri Watson Hamm & husband, Bryan of Spring, TX, Mandi Watson Shayda & husband, Bryan of Blacksburg; sons, John William Watson of Omaha, NE, Clifford Smith II of Huddleston; daughter, Rebecca Victora Smith of Bedford; sisters, Linda Gail Watson of Moneta, Mary Lynn Burnette & husband, Wayne of Bedford; seven grandchildren; his furry friend, Toby as well as many cousins, nieces & nephews.
The family requests that those wishing to make memorials consider the Agape Center, P. O. Box 573, Moneta, VA 24121.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Bethlehem United Methodist Church with Rev. David Lord & Rev. Jason Arthur officiating.
There will be no visitation.
