Obituary of Linda Mae Thompson Barber

Linda Mae Barber, 58 of  Goodview, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 22, 2018.  She was born on Tuesday, May 26, 1959 in Bath County.  She was  preceded in death by her sisters, India Sue Saunders, Mary Ellen Thompson & a brother, Lawrence C. Thompson.  

She is survived by her mother, Emma T. Saunders & step-father, Gerald W. Sr.; her daughters, Jeannie Gordon & husband, Ricky, April Wright & husband, Andrew;  sons, Jerry Flowers, Jr. & wife, Heather; Gerald H. Flowers; sisters, Ruby Fitchett & husband, Steven, Donna Corvin & husband, David, Judy Barber & boyfriend, PJ Whittaker, Shelby Saunders & boyfriend, Keith Kolb-Tilmon; brothers, Gerald Saunders, Jr., Gary Saunders, Sr. & wife, Donna, Michael Saunders & wife, Angela, eight grandchildren, two great grandsons as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.  

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Monday, June 4, 2018 at the graveside at the Gordon Family Cemetery, 1342 Russell Drive, Moneta, VA 24121. There is no public visitation.  Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
