Obituary of Ulises Raul Estrada

Ulises Raul Estrada, 48 of  Goodview, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2018 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.  He was born on Sunday, May 3, 1970  in Panama, a son of the late Alfredo Catalina Estrada  and Gilma Perna Watson Estrada.

Ulises came to the United States in 1985, he attended Tilden High School in Brooklyn, NY.  He excelled in baseball and made it to the minor league but due to injury could not continue.  Nevertheless, he still loved the sport.  He enjoyed fishing, coaching and spending time with his family.  Later in life he went back to college and earned his degree, became an electrician and was currently employed by Cox Cable as an Electrical Technician.  He was very outgoing and did what he could to help the community, especially feeding the homeless.   

He is survived by his companion, Monique Pfeffer of Goodview; his daughters, Ulissa Olga Estrada, Alexis Sabrina Estrada; his son, Jacob Ulises Estrada-Pfeffer;  his brothers, Alfreda, Alberto, Fabio, Renato, Otto, Erick, Braulio & Efrain Estrada; his sisters, Elizabeth, Adriana, Gilma, Yamileth & Almaris Estrada.  

A memorial service will be held at 4 PM on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Updike Funeral Chapel, Bedford.
