Obituary of Susan Key Tinsley

Susan Key Tinsley, 51 of  Lynchburg, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital.  She was born on Monday, November 21, 1966  in Bedford, a daughter of Walter Gerald Key of Bedford who survives and the late Alice Marie Arrington Key.

She was a Licensed Practical Nurse and was a member of  Mountain View Union Church.  

In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband, Jonathan L. Tinsley, Sr.; her sons, Jonathan L. Tinsley, Jr., Jarrett A. Tinsley; her sister, Geraldine R. Franklin as well as several nieces & nephews. 

The family requests those wishing to make memorials to consider Liberty High School Band Uniform Fund, c/o Liberty High School, 100 Liberty Minutemen Drive, Bedford, VA 24523.  

The family will receive friends beginning at 3 PM on Friday, July 6, 2018 at Salem United Methodist Church and a memorial service will follow at 4 PM.
