Obituary of Ruth Overstreet Fulton

Ruth Overstreet Fulton, 99 of Bean Station, TN and formerly of Bedford County, passed away Monday, July 9, 2018 at the home of her daughter, Donna.

She was born on February 22, 1919 in Bedford County, a daughter of the late Julian Luck Overstreet and Rosey May Carter Overstreet.  She was also preceded in death by a son, Lynwood Douglas Fulton & a granddaughter, Brandy Seal.

She was retired from Belding Hemingway Corporation and was a member of Cool Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church.

She is survived by a son, George Lawson Fulton of Vacaville, CA; a daughter, Donna Seal of Bean Station, TN; a sister, Virgie Palfi of Minnesota as well as four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends beginning at 11 AM on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford and a funeral service will follow at 1 PM in the chapel with Rev. Ray Lyons officiating.  Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
