Obituary of Andrew Lee Heck

Andrew Lee Heck, age 70 of Lynchburg and formerly of Bedford, passed away Friday, July 27, 2018 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital.  He was born June 7, 1948 in Bedford County, a son of the late Arnie Woodson Heck and Erma Ruff Heck.  He was also preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Lynch Manley & his sister-in-law, Lorene Heck.

He is survived by three sisters, Julie Manley of Bedford, Loretta Markham & husband, Bobby of Goode, Rachel Bryant and husband, Tommy of Lynhurst; a brother, Paul Heck of Bedford, numerous nieces & nephews as well as his beloved caregiver, Brenda Denbow who was like his second mother.

The family will receive friends beginning at 1 PM on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford and a graveside service will follow at 2:30 PM at Greenwood Cemetery.
