Obituary of Odell Warren Saunders

Odell Warren Saunders, 90 of  Altavista, passed away Sunday, September 9, 2018 at Autumn Care of Altavista.  He was born on Tuesday, July 31, 1928  in Bedford County, a son of the late Jesse Saunders and Bettsie Spradlin Saunders.  He was a retired from the Lane Company and was a veteran od the U. S. Army.  

He is survived by his brothers, James Saunders of Moneta, Junior Saunders of Altavista, Jerry Price of Moneta; his friend, Betty Oneill of Altavista.  

Funeral services will be held at the graveside at the Byrd Family Cemetery at Radford Baptist Church at 2 PM on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 with Rev. Wayne Murphy officiating.  The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 until 8 PM at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Huddleston.
