Obituary of Michael Travis Caldwell

Michael “Travis” Caldwell, 31 of Thaxton went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, September 18, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 20, 1987 in Roanoke, a son of Larry and Mary Caldwell of Thaxton VA . He was survived by brothers and sisters, David Caldwell, Tammy Caldwell Ruff, Preston Caldwell, Abdul Charania, Derek Charania, 12 nieces and nephews, many aunts, uncles and cousins, significant other, Emily Overstreet. He loved fishing, hunting, dirt bikes, and four wheelers. He’s going to be missed by many. 

The family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford and a funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Earl Ragland officiating.  Interment will follow in Holy Land Cemetery.  Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
