Obituary of Eunice Bauswell Ramsey

Eunice Fay Bauswell  Ramsey, 84 of Moneta, passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.  She was born on Friday, April 27, 1934 in Dickenson County, VA, a daughter of the late Frank and Rose Pearl Silcox Bauswell.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Ramsey; brothers, Lee, Dewey and L.C. Bauswell; sisters, Ruby Hinds and Mary Rose; son-in-law, Benny Tuck.  

She is survived by her daughters, Rita Lipscomb and husband, Lynwood of Bedford; Debra Tuck of Moneta; her grandchildren, Keith B. Tuck (Holly), Amanda Elswick (Curtis), Melanie Hurley (Chuck),  Lynette Lipscomb (Scott Deel), Kimberly Smith (Mark); great-grandchildren, Erica, Andrew, Danielle and Sarah Tuck, Christopher and Benjamin Craft, Cooper and Chloe Elswick; Peyton and Paxton Hurley; Savannah, Stephanie, Sophia, Justin, Scarlett and Selah Smith.  One brother, Tivis Bauswell and two sisters, Ann Ochoa (Bob) and Janice Pratico all of Michigan; as well as many nieces, nephews and her beloved Taffi.

The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Radford Baptist Church and a funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm  with Pastor John Hester officiating.  Interment will follow in Radford Baptist Church Cemetery.  Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
