Judith Hensley Mason, 62 of Evington, passed away Friday, January 21, 2011 at her residence after a lengthy illness. She was born on Friday, April 2, 1948 in Campbell County, a daughter of the late Herbert T. Hensley and Kathleen Elizabeth Dowdy Hensley. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Tom Hensley and an infant brother. She was employed at Schrader-Bridgeport as a quality control inspector. Surviving is her husband, David Reid Mason Sr., four sons, Arthur Dodson, David Mason Jr. & wife, Wendy, Darrell Mason, Daniel Mason & wife, Megan; five grandsons, David Mason III, Christopher L. Mason, Michael T. Mason, Jordan R. Mason, Kainen Lee Mason as well as two granddaughters, Madison Drew Mason, Kylar Nicole Mason; two brothers, Michael Hensley & wife, Brenda, Raymond Hensley & wife, Sue; a sister, Sarah Smith & husband, Robert. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Updike Funeral Home, 11351 Leesville Road, Huddleston, VA 24104. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 24, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Updike Funeral Chapel, Huddleston with Rev. Ricky Ewing officiating. Interment will follow in the Vaughn-Hensley Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday after 12 noon and the family will receive friends from 3 until 6 PM at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Huddleston.
