Obituary of Mildred Jeanean Witt Zimmerman

Mildred Jeanean Witt Zimmerman, 85 of Bedford, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Guggenheimer Health & Rehab.  She was born on March 7, 1933 in Vinton, a daughter of the late Albert M. Witt and Reba Williamson Witt.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Eugene Zimmerman & a son, Ray D. Hogan.

She is survived by her son, Ronnie A. Hogan of Bedford; two daughters, Elaine H. Dean of Bedford, Karen H. Bowyer & husband, Donald of Chamblissburg; ten grandchildren, Kerry, Britney, Luke, Michelle, Chris, Aaron, Joey, Mary Beth, Melissa & Kyle; sixteen great grandchildren; two brothers, Billy Witt & wife, Phyllis, Wayne Witt & wife, Faye, all of Bedford.

The family will receive friends beginning at 12:30 PM on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford and a funeral service will  follow at 2 PM in the chapel with Rev Vernon DeLong officiating.
