Emily Anne Crouch Bennett, 67 of Bedford, passed away Monday, January 17, 2011 at Virginia Baptist Hospital. She was born on Monday, February 22, 1943 in Bedford County, a daughter of the late Warren S. Crouch and Margaret Holdren Crouch. She was also preceded in death by a son, Thomas Lee Bennett. She was a customer service representative at Walmart in Bedford and was a member of Mentow Baptist Church. Surviving is her husband, Lloyd H. Bennett; a daughter, Sabrina W. Adams of Yorktown; three step-sons, David Bennett & wife, Donna of Chatham, Bobby Bennett of Bedford, Danny Bennett of Lynchburg; a step-daughter, JoAnn Bailey & husband, Herb of Hurt; two brothers, Haywood Crouch & wife, Sharon of Huddleston, Nelson Crouch of Bedford; a sister, Velma Davis of Big Island; ten grandchildren, four great grandchildren and her Walmart Family. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2011 at 3:00 PM at Updike Funeral Chapel, Bedford with Rev. Steve Parker officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:30 pm until the time of the service at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford
