Obituary of Michael Edward Reynolds

Michael Edward "Mickey" Reynolds, 75 of Thaxton, passed away Sunday, February 24, 2019 at his residence.  He was born on Wednesday, December 1, 1943  in Mullins, WV, a son of the late James Edward Reynolds and Juanita Buchanan Reynolds.  He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Wendy Sue Reynolds Rector.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda Bowden Reynolds; his sons, Bryant E. Reynolds & wife, Danielle of Bedford, Jeffrey E. Reynolds of Thaxton; his brother, Arnold R. Reynolds of Lynchburg; his sisters, Shirley Anderson of Thaxton, Debbie Carpenter & husband, Larry of Lynchburg, Letishya Goad of Bedford; his grandchildren, Cody M. Reynolds, Kristin M. Reynolds, Chandler N. Reynolds, Alexander Tuck, Hailey M. Branch, Charlee S. Rector, Ty R. Rector.  

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Updike Funeral Chapel, Bedford with Rev. June Carpenter officiating.  Interment will follow in Peaks Presbyterian Church & Community Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5 until 7 PM at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
